Wow! Florida has these wonderful beaches!!! My second day here with my new Family was sooooo exciting. We went to the beach! There were so many people and tons of warm grainy sand beneath our feet. It was similar to the snow we get at the North Pole but not wet and cold! It was quite nice sight seeing. I watched Grayson build a sand castle and his baby sister play on the blanket. Then, it started to rain and this was very similar to the snow back home except a little harder. It felt like a million pricks on my back all at once and was very wet. Grayson and his family seemed to enjoy this because they laughed and ran back to the car.
I do like the beach very much. The ocean is huge and the sand, though grainy, is warm. The one thing that didn't tickle my little Elf toes was the fact that this sand gets everywhere, ears, eyes and even your nose!
On the evening of my second day just before I headed back to the North Pole, I watched as my family made pancakes and scrambled eggs for DINNER! This pleased me so much. The smell of the homemade pancakes with butter and warm syrup. It made my mouth water.
So guess what I did when I returned from my evening duties at the North Pole????????????
You guessed it....I whipped up some tasty pancakes of my own with OJ to wash them down. It was divine. After all...working with Santa sure works up an appetite!
