Grayson and I did another not so perfect craft project. We call it our color monster. When he is hungry for a color, I ask G-man to put that color in. When he chooses the wrong color I say, " Yuck, not_______ (Whatever color) the ___________ one!"
He gets a kick out of this and laughs a storm!
Here are the photos and steps below:
First things first you will need large Popsicle sticks, scissors, googly eyes, glue, tape, and multi colored construction paper.
I used the cardboard backing from the construction paper pack as my background. Then glued two Sticks onto the paper.
I chose Green for our monster, but any color you fancy is great! I just cut out a square in the middle of the paper. Just be sure that it is inside the two Popsicle sticks. Then, Glue the paper onto the sticks and outer edges being sure to leave a tiny bit of paper unglued at the bottom of your square.
Then you just take different colors of construction paper and cut our squares. Use tape to attach them onto separate Popsicle sticks and stick into monsters mouth from top as seen above. You can then decorate the Monster however you like:)
I am not very crafty at all so I am sure someone with far more crafty skills than I could make this much Cooler, but my G-man loved it and that's all that I care about.
That's such a cute idea!!!
