Panera Bread joins in the Cupcake Craze

I am a big Foodie in the since that I love food, especially sweets!! With that said, I LOOOOVE Cupcakes!!! When I saw that Panera Bread was now offering cupcakes, I had to try them. Here is the low down on what I thought of the vanilla (They offer chocolate and red velvet also):

 Got a little toppled in the car ride home.

Tried to fix for photo sake

It was a vanilla cupcake that was cake like but not really moist. It was a little on the drier side and I love a moist cupcake so took points off for that. As I was eating, about more than halfway thru there was a vanilla custard type of filling. The filling was not that great in my opinion and caught me off guard as I didn't  realize there was a filling at all. I must say at over $2 this is not my favorite cupcake. I have purchased larger and more delicious cupcakes for less than $2. The best part of this cupcake in my opinion was the vanilla bean frosting, so yummy! Overall, it wasn't the worst cupcake I've ever tried, I did eat it, just not my top choice. I think I will stick to their yummy, gooey, warm out of the oven chocolate chip cookies. Those are the best Chocolate Chip Cookies I have found anywhere!
