Yesterday was a very exciting day. Grayson and I watched Cars, again. He really loves this movie!!! Then, we all got ready for church. After the noon mass we joined some more family to witness the Baptism of the latest baby to join the family. He was so cute and tiny. Almost as cute and tiny as me!!
After the Baptism which was quite nice, we headed over to the party. There were so many people and tons of food. It turns out that Grayson and his Mommy love sweets just as much as Santa!
I reported to Santa about our family day and he chuckled his, "Ho Ho Ho!" He was so happy and filled with cheer to hear about how Grayson played all day. He was a little concerned to hear that Grayson did fall and scrap up his arm but Smiled his warm smile to hear he was a big boy about it. He even let his Mommy wash his cut! Santa heard of all I had to tell and was very excited to hear that Grayson told me another thing he wishes for this year. A plane from the Planes movie....oh and an I-Phone. When I heard him tell his Mommy this and she replied with a, "Oh, really?"
I couldn't help but giggle to myself. I know with all of these new toys, gadgets and gidgets, technology has really gotten away with us. It makes me sad to no longer have a wish for the wooden dolls, cars and trains. At least those wishes are far and few between, but as Santa always says....we must make adjustments and work even harder to help bring smiles to the children! I just wish we could make more of the classics. Technology is really neat but very tricky. You should see the elves and I trying to figure some of these gadgets out. They must be put together just right...not much room for error.
Ah well.
After last night's trip I decided to sit and enjoy some tea with a few friends. After all Tis' the Season to be Jolly and what better way to start off than tea with friends!
