Family Time

Family night was a success with the exception of a scary movie. Friday night we decided to make our own pizzas instead of buying our usual Dgiorno or ordering Pappa John's. We bought two different crust (Boboli original and Mama Mary's thin), shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, tomato sauce, and green peppers. We took some olive oil and brushed the crust of the Boboli pizza with oil and sprinkled with garlic powder. Then it was project -decorate pizza -time. Grayson had done a mini pizza before for tot school "P" week and was very against adding the shredded cheese. I had to sneak it on last time. This time he couldn't get enough cheese! Daddy and Grayson did the thin crust pizza and I did the other. So much fun and 8 short minutes of baking later we had two yummy pizzas. The best part...we made dinner as a family and had fun doing it!

Grayson had the opportunity to pick the flick Friday night. He picked a Monkey movie, Snowflake the White Gorilla, that he was super excited about at the time. When we got home though he came running into the kitchen after only 5 minutes saying it was scary. He was recently just as scared about The Curious George Halloween movie. Hmmm (?)
So Cars it was......AGAIN!

Good thing I had a promo code for a free rental. Thanks retailmenot:)

Saturday we headed out to South Beach to walk Lincoln Road and the Boardwalk. In the 8 years I have been with my hubby we have been to Lincoln Road maybe 3 times but have never walked the boardwalk. Despite the gloomy weather on our drive there we ended up getting 2 hours of gorgeous sunshine! G-man and I even played down at the shoreline giggling as the waves crashed into our shoes and splashed our clothes.

I really enjoy sight seeing an people watching but such Pretentious people. I mean would it really kill you to say "excuse me?" So you have more money than you think I do and you have access to all the clubs, venues, and can waste away all your money on "things!" Whoopi do da! Having money doesn't make anyone "better" "good" or even "decent."
Do you know what true happiness is? Do you have love in your life? "Real" Love? Do you know what compassion is?
I do know people who are "well to do" and they are not Pretentious in the least. However, I have encountered more than one (too many in my opinion) who have their nose so far up their own asses they can smell their poo coming! And that is just gross!

Saturday night G-man had a fever on and off that has gone into today. Other than a high fever he is just dandy. He took a 3 hour nap and is currently wide awake watching...can you guess??? Cars...yes...again!

As this weekend comes to a close I am snuggled next to my "hot" tot:( I am content, happy, thankful for a great family weekend and have a belly full of my yummy ice cream dessert:)
