Sweet, but a healthier option

I recently discovered a health food haven! Thanks to my friend and fellow blogger Lindsay, You Are The Roots.
When I walked inside Tunies it were as if every cell in my body were screaming at me to try anything in this store, if not everything. As my husband, two children and I perused the shelves aisle by lovely aisle, we realized that maybe we should finally make that leap towards a better lifestyle. Eating healthy comes at a fee though. Eating preservative free, natural and/or organic foods made without all the names of things you cant even pronounce half the time, hurts the pocket book. At least ours anyway. However, on the flip side....you are what you eat, right? I fill my body with a lot of sweets, and must say am a very sweet person, but in all realism probably doing major damage health wise. So, if we were to start small and eat healthier it is highly probable that we will be healthier, and feel more energetic, and healthy.
As we walked we were squished by elderly person after elderly person. I mean they have the right of way, right? Just by default because they have been around much longer than we have. They have worlds of experience over us. Whether they are just having the epitome to eat better and take supplements now in life, or are the age they are because of the before said. It doesn't matter, this place is still a haven for the healthy gurus, the wise elderly,  and the newbies or  jumpers (like my husband and I) taking the jump from easy more affordable eating to a healthier alternative. Baby steps though...VERY BABY!
Honestly, we cant afford to go organic just simply because we aren't raking in monetary heaps. We get organic when we can and opt for healthier options. I would rather my family eat veggies and fruits than not whether they be organic or not. Nothing makes me happier than when my G-Man pulls a carrot out of the fridge and says, "Carrot Mommy. Please mommy, Carrot!"
YES! Of course you can have a Carrot, I sing Gleefully to myself!
We do the best we can. We really would love to shop at this store on a regular basis but for now, we will treat this little slice of heaven like the treat it is. Starting of course with G-Man's first pick:

Some Yummy Delicious Oh so Gotta Have Em Animal Cookies! I am Hooked and Happy to give them to Grayson.
The next healthier food option I am loving right now is Love Crunch Organic Chocolate Granola with Red Berries. Throw this in some Vanilla Greek Yogurt and your taste buds will...AHHHH!

Bought at Publix in their Greenwise Section
Remember, I have a NASTY Sweet Tooth so my picks for a healthier Sweet option are just that, Sweet. However they taste Yummy and are a  much better option. Like I said baby steps!
