Our Cute Little Ghoulies

Now I am getting into the swing of things. Today I decided to get crafty and into the Halloween spirit.  Thanks to Google, I stumbled across another blog with some great ideas. The first being Toilet Roll Bats Ours looks nothing like the blog one as we were limited with tools, but we did the best we could and G-Man loved making his regardless.

What we used:
TP Roll
Black Paint
White Paper
Black Construction Paper
White Chalk
Tape
Glue

What we did:
Painted the TP Roll Black
While drying we traced G-Mans Hands onto black construction paper and cut out
Also, cut out little white pieces of paper and black pieces for ears
Once the TP Roll was dry we glued the white ears onto the top of the Roll and glued the tiny black paper inside.
Then, with tape (I love using tape by the way!) we taped the cutout hands to the backside of the Roll
Final Step - We just used Chalk to decorate the face
(Remember I am not crafty, but in the eyes of my son I can do no wrong)

Our next art project today was to make TP Roll Ghost. I found a similar craft online but cant find it again :( I like to give credit where credit is due and the one I found looked much nicer.

What we used:
TP Roll
White Paint
Black Paint
Coffee Filters
Glue
Scissors

What we did:
Painted the TP Roll White
While this one dried I cut up some coffee filters into strips
When the paint dried we glued the filter strips onto the inside of the Roll
(Looking at the photo now, it probably would look better if the strips were glued onto the outside of the Roll. )
We attempted to glue black pom poms onto the roll for eyes and mouth but that was an Epic Fail :(
So, in lieu of the failed pom pom attempt I painted the eyes and mouth with black paint
