Failure to Fall but still time for Pumpkins

I am way behind in all of the Fall Festivities, and cramming as much into these last few weeks of October as I possibly can! Then onto November. I don't even have Halloween costumes yet!! With that said, cardboard gets a lot of use in this household. Seeing as a lot of my Not So Crafty Crafts are never planned and spur of the moment, I do what I can do with what is lying around. This is usually raiding our recycling bin.

Today I took a simple oatmeal lid, cut out a circle in cardboard and taped around edges of lid. Grayson then painted to his hearts content. Then, I simply cut out a stem from cardboard and taped tiny bubble wrap to it for a different texture. G-Man painted that as well. Last I cut out some shapes for the face and had him paint them black. Once everything was dried just let him tape the pieces onto the Pumpkin. Thus resulting in one proud boy with a cute, easy pumpkin.
