We have Happily joined the Happy Family

My daughter is now almost 9 months (at the end of February)! I can count on one hand how many times I have actually pureed her food. This makes me feel a little guilty because I made ALL of Grayson's foods when he started eating solids. I have racked my brain to try to figure out why I am not as motivated: time, energy, just pure laziness.....I think they all take a role. Since I have not been as actively passionate about only making her food I have tried a lot of what is on the market now as far as baby food goes. The one thing I really try to opt for is the "Organic" foods.

Now, I know that nothing from a jar, plastic container, box, or pouch is going to compare to making the purees myself, but I have noticed some big differences in taste, appearance, quality, and her preference for sure when it comes to the store bought foods I have given her. Some brands that I have tried are Gerber Nature Selects and Organic containers, Earth's best jar food and pouches, Plum pouches, Sprout Pouches, Ella's Kitchen pouches, and Happy Baby, by Happy Family (Multiple foods).

I know Gerber has been around forever and is branded a name that parents know and trust. However, 2 1/2 years ago when I had my son I felt that Earth's Best out right slaughtered Gerber with taste, consistency, and being Organic. Gerber no longer stood a chance in our household. I really preferred the Earth's Best brand until I discovered Happy Family products.

I heard about the Happy Family baby food products back in October when I attended the Green Baby Fair. I again had the pleasure of speaking with one of their reps at the Biggest Baby Shower. I was excited to tell Keymia since meeting her I had purchased several products that Happy Family has on the market and was very satisfied. I am one of those Mommies who smell and taste everything before giving it to my little ones. With so many different baby foods on the shelves it can spin your brain trying to figure out what the best for your baby is. Plus, you have to figure out which one your little one will actually eat and enjoy!

After eating her Happy Baby-Organic Whole Grain Oatmeal Cereal
I have tried the Happy Baby- Organic Whole Grain Oatmeal Cereal, Happy Munchies - Carrot Rice Cakes, Happy Puffs-Green Puffs, and several pouch blends from the Happy Family product line. I have tried everything that I have given to Starr. I honestly can say that there is a difference in the appearance, consistency, and taste of the Happy Family products compared to other brands on the shelves I have tried. What I love about this brand besides the fact that Starr is happy with it, the fact that all of their foods are Organic, they offer snacks for my Twoddler, baby food and snacks, and even adult snacks. They are a company that was developed by mothers, truly care about the nutritional factor of their product, they use post-consumer recycled materials for packaging when possible making them 100% recyclable after use, the pouches allow for preserving the foods without additives, they work with farmers that practice sustainable organic farming conserving natural resources such as water, & if they couldn't get any better they give back!

She loves her Happy Puffs

She Loves these Rice Cakes too - especially since teething!
Grayson loves to snack on the rice cakes and Super Puffs. Truth be told, so do I!
Plus with every organic baby food option, price plays a factor, at least in my household and compared to other options ranging from gerber at average $1.99/2 pk, Sprout $1.99/pouch, Earth's Best Pouches $1.99, Plum pouch $1.49-$2.00, and Ella's Kitchen $1.69. Happy Family comes in at average $1.39/pouch. This makes me and my hard working husband Happy! So it is a Win for us all.

In a society where EVERYONE is Money Hungry, willing to step on whomever to get wherever, and quality is pushed aside for Pink Washing to attain more numbers, sales, & profit, (MONEY). It is nice to be a consumer making a purchase from a company that has a purpose behind all the hoopla. A company that has quality as it's top priority. A company that quite frankly stands true to its name, makes you Happy to purchase their product and is priced right. My kids and I love the Happy Family products so far and I must say Happy Family has just ranked over Earth's Best in our household.
