Welcome to Mama Jennie's

After a day at the Green Baby Fair with Lindsay @ You Are The Roots, we stopped at a local Staple, Mama Jennie's Italian Restaurant. We did drive all the way to Miami for the baby fair, why not stop  by a local College hang out. Mama Jennie's is off of NE 2nd Avenue in Miami. It is a smaller local gem restaurant with big flavor. First, we started off with the Garlic Rolls. Enough yummy and delicious garlic to compel even the most thirsty of Vampires this Halloween. Every bite drenched with garlicky goodness. Then, we had a large pizza - 1/2 cheese 1/2 cheese, tomato, spinach and garlic (the garlic rolls weren't enough garlic to satisfy my garlic craving taste buds.) Can you guess which half was mine? The pizza was flavorful, thin and crispy with a nice crunch! It successfully lacked the overkill of sauce and/or grease. I can see why the Barry University students eat there. Nothing like a great Pizza Pie:) So, if ever in the neighborhood or willing to take the drive stop by Mama Jennie's, she won't disappoint.
