With Halloween quickly approaching and this officially being G-mans last week home before starting preschool, I have been trying to keep the art alive in our home!
Yesterday, we attempted our friend Ethan's Q-tip skeleton and then just simply painted with our fingers, pom poms, pipe cleaners etc. I put the finger paint inside the lid of one of those big green Keebler cracker bins. This was fun because G-man got a different visual experience when he combined all the colors together. I let him also paint with Halloween cookie cutters I got at Michaels arts and crafts store for a steal...$.99!
We took our usual cardboard base that we always paint on top of because it covers the majority of our table. I then used a roll of thin cardboard paper from the cellophane I used for the baby shower prizes and glued black tissue paper onto it. G-man painted to his hearts content. I gave him a small piece of bubble wrap too!! By the end of it all he was stretching his creative thought process and painting on his arms and tummy finishing off with mommy's arm!!
AWWWWWW GRAYSON! We miss you! Your q-tip skeletons are awesome!
